Machine Safety Group builds hazardIQ - the platform that makes machine safety assessments structured, traceable and audit-ready.
I'm Lee Robson, the founder of Machine Safety Group and the engineer behind hazardIQ.
I spent years working in machine safety - carrying out PUWER and LOLER assessments, writing risk assessments, specifying safety systems and dealing with the mountain of paperwork that comes with it. The tools available were either bloated enterprise platforms nobody could figure out, or spreadsheets held together with hope.
So I built hazardIQ. A focused, no-nonsense platform designed specifically for the people who actually do the work - safety consultants, in-house teams and engineers who need to run assessments, log findings, capture evidence and produce audit-ready reports without drowning in admin.
Registered in England & Wales
PUWER, LOLER, the Machinery Directive, ISO 13849-1 - these aren't optional. The people responsible for compliance deserve a tool built for the job, not adapted from something else.
hazardIQ gives you a structured workflow from assessment creation to signed report. Every finding, photograph and corrective action is tracked in one place.
When an inspector asks a question, you need to find the answer in seconds, not hours. hazardIQ keeps a full, timestamped audit trail of every assessment and every action taken.
Structured section-by-section inspections against the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
Lifting equipment examinations with item tracking, statutory examination periods and defect management.
Assessments aligned to BS EN 60204-1, covering control circuits, protective devices and earthing.
Hazard identification, risk scoring and control measures for any workplace risk scenario.
Safety function definition, Performance Level calculation and SISTEMA integration for functional safety.
Capture photographic evidence on-site, attach it to findings and include it in audit-ready PDF reports.
